1. Why would it be important
for Stephen to give to his listeners an account of Jewish history?
2. Describe in your own words
what this promise was in verse 17, which Stephen said "God had sworn to

between Stephens recount in this passage and what is in the book of Exodus?
4. What was the main reason for
Israels and Stephens listeners rejection of God?
Is it any different today?

Stephens accusations of his accusers from verses 51-53?

Stephen was thinking of how much trouble he was in, especially with what we
read from verses 54-60?
