2. What made the high priest so angry at Paul to have him struck on the mouth? Look up the meaning behind the word to strike.

4. (a) Describe Paul's attitude when he found out who was giving the command to have him struck.










 

(b) Give some reasons for Paul not to have recognized the high priest?






 

(b) What Paul said, You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people. Where is it found and does this apply today?









 

5. Was this a smart move on Pauls part to turn the Pharisees against the Sadducees?











 

6. Describe what the scene might have been like when the Pharisees and Sadducees went at each other.







 

7. By the Lord appearing to Paul the following night, do you think that the Lord was preparing Paul for the next day or when he got to Jerusalem?








 

8. Was this the first time for a plot to be made against Paul? (This sounds like a good plot for a movie today, dont you think?)
