Hebrews chapter 12, and this morning will be looking at verse two. I have several friends that work you like to participate in various kinds of races that some of them are 5K 10K half marathon marathon in the do that to raise money for a cause that’s important to them and in their lives was happened is they may have lost a child to a tragic disease they may have lost a sibling or maybe even apparent to things like heart disease and things like that they really is in order to encourage other people to donate to the cause very touching way for them to remember their departed loved one to raise money to help others who suffer from the same thing that their loved one did a train they prepare in the endure the the race and everything that goes with it because they think about the one they love their propelled by that down the racing to go to everything that they do and when the race. It’s hard they keep in mind that they’re doing it for the one they love. That’s the motivation we find our motivation in these early verses in Hebrews chapter 12 we find that we have grueling race before us that we have been thrust into we came entrusted in Christ we have been put into this race and it’s a race that lasts throughout our whole lives. From that moment forward, it’s a race that we are in every day. Whether we feel good or not. We don’t have an option to say okay today, take a break from the race. It’s not a weekend competition is not something that we train for we produce faith and were down this is something that goes on and on day after day. And so we need something more to help us endure each day that we wake we are once again thrust into this race and we need more help than what we ourselves can muster when you a lot of help and from where will that hope come
