If you would turn within your Bibles to Hebrews chapter 9 Hebrews chapter 9 we embark on not just the good stuff we've been feeding on lately.  But the really good stuff.  Now of his wonderful is Hebrews has been as we work our way through just glorious material we now dive into the heart of the letter we received the eight the author now taking us where we been were getting to the destination if you will because we have a while the work through that this is where he's been going this is what he wants us to get so that we can help us as his original readers needed the help of not just sitting back and put your feet up and kind of coasting but to keep growing in Christ.  And certainly to not go back to the old way to not go back to the old covenant the mosaic law his readers were tempted to do that some of their number had already left and it gone back it was a lot easier persecution was less and now as though he's been just destroying any ideas they may have of going back now showing this is why because we have before us him when a man and woman, Mary the begin a new life together right you have to just for little bit to having to sinners now being in the same household and in so you learn to to find a new normal he slip into a routine my brother used to call Connie in me thinks the I NK any of you know that is double income no kids and here he had kids are you know and and a single income and things were very different, but when you're in that era of your life together.  He didn't have enough money and you tend to the most part be happy by for some reason you convince ourselves that some things missing and you decide that it's time to add children to the mix and so you move from the phase of possibly being thinks today phase of what's known as WWWT what were we thinking it when you bring their first child home.  Whether it's through birth or through adoption and in for some of us are insanity has progressed so far that we bring more than one home at the beginning when that happens, your family enters a new era, even if you start off with the little baby okay who would've ever thought that something so tiny union always forget how tiny they are until you know when you ladies has is a newborn you bring his fingers everything you how can something so totally, completely turn a household upside down me beginning been talking but they make their presence known and they do you enter a whole new phase a new era in your family.  It's not all like the old days now.  Yes it and we been joking about this.  It brings a whole lot attracts and they don't.  The trials are restricted to some things in my own just watch out for the team this is the whole text but it does bring more trials, but also brings more choice that's really the whole reason why we do after every you think okay if there's some he trials why do people not stop at one family someday, but why do we generally more what I can answer for for those of us who are Christian parents.  We want to share the love of God with some and his children their captive audience so that you know it.  They have to have it hears God's loving with you like it or not right and in all the witnesses that come that of gone God's goodness that we share with we wanted do that.  Remember, even before we had the girls we talked about I can't wait you know we love Colorado can't wait to bring them here in own first time it was dragging them down the trails are up the trials and all but they came to love it.  Like we did when share these the good things that God has given us more than anything that we wanted to show the Lord Jesus with you knowing the things we sing that's the real thing you want to share with want them to come to know our Lord Jesus Christ and his then the salvation that he bring will when children come it is an entirely new era for the family and it is better our author has been telling us about the excellent worship of under the old covenant system wonderful things important things that was significant.  We should never look back on that disdain a don't ever think about Lance Old Testament is the word of God.  It was it was therefore a reason it served a very important function and is still worthy of our meditation and are considering our author has reminded his Jewish readers about these these things of sanctuary and sacrifice under that old covenant system.  Now even the first covenant had regulations of divine worship in the earthly sanctuary, but it was a tabernacle prepared the outer one which with a lampstand and the table in the sacred bread.  This is called the holy place that was the first the outer tabernacle chamber and behind the second veil that was a tabernacle which is called the holy of holies, having a golden altar of incense in the ark of the covenant that was covered on all sides with gold in which was a golden jar holding a man and Aaron's rod which budded and the tables of the covenant and above it were the chair beam of glory overshadowing the mercy seat, but of those things we cannot speak now in detail now when these things have been thus prepared the priests are continually entering the outer tabernacle performing the divine worship, but into the second only the high priest enters once a year, not without taking blood which he offers for himself and for the sins of the people committed in ignorance the Holy Spirit signifying this that the way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed while the outer tabernacle is still standing are still in force, which is a parable for the present time.  Accordingly, both gifts and sacrifices were offered which cannot make the perfect worship are perfect in conscience as they relate only to food and drink and various washings regulations for the body imposed until the time of Reformation when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come.  He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is to say not of this creation and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through his own blood.  He enter the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption for the blood of goats and bulls in the ashes of a heifer sprinkling those who have been to file sanctify for the cleansing of flash much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without blemish to God cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God.  There so we seem to
