And within your Bibles to Hebrews chapter 12.  He was chapter 12 this morning will be looking at verses four through six Hebrews 12 four through six.  It's important for us to know the plan we should not be surprised whenever we go through difficulties in our lives it would illustration you'll see how this ties in with the later with the lesson that we have before us here in Scriptures parents.  It wouldn't do for us to let our children run amok like while little hooligans all time, and then this one day out of the blue to clobber them for running in the house when you hadn't told them that was a rule don't run the house we have to tell them ahead of time what is it that we expect of them in we need to regularly remind them of the plan.  The plan that we have to raise them up the ways of the Lord, instruct them to discipline them to train them.  They might go something like this as we talk to them your mother and I will be setting rules in our family rules that are designed to keep you safe and healthy rules that are designed to teach you to respect others and to be considerate of them will be enforcing rules that we find in Scripture because you want to help you learn how to obey the Lord part of the training we are going to take you through were also going to assign various chores and projects things that are designed to give you did the life skills and the spiritual development that you're going to need as it in your life in this world in Europe and more importantly your life under God as we we go on week remind them you also need to understand that when you break these rules or when you don't do the chores as you been told that there will be consequences.  So don't be surprised when you encounter difficult unpleasant circumstances don't be surprise will be assigned a project or chores to you that don't seem to make sense right now to why you are the one who is supposed to do that.  Remember this for doing this for your training for your development and this is important is reading this because the community brothers and sisters as we look in the Scriptures don't you find it.  That's what God does he tells us what the plan is he says okay here is different things that I I'm calling you commanding you to do to keep to not do that.  He also reminds us that you're the things that will happen if you disobey they also tells us that I can use these things I'm training you in these ways because I love how easily forget for believers suffering isn't just suffering.  Suffering has great purpose behind it.  If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, we should be encouraged by this fact, God will never lead us through meaningless suffer never lead us through this suffering and so it's important for us to know the plan is important for us to be constantly reminded of it so we see that as we take a look.  This morning in Hebrews 12.  And I like to read the first 13 verses so that we have for the setting of the context and in so that we can also see, where he's going for a look at today.  Hebrews 12 one.  Therefore, it is and in light of chapter 11 all the way through there since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us all those men and women of faith.  Let us also lay aside every encumbrance in the sin which so easily entangles us and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.  The joy set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God forth consider him who has endured such hostility I sinners against himself so that you may not grow weary and lose heart.  You've not yet resisted to the point shedding blood in striving against an and you forgot vegetation which is addressed to you as a means my son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord your fate when you are reproved by him for the does the Lord loves he does and he scourges every son, whom he received is for discipline that you endure God deals with you as with some things for what son is there and his father does not this, but if you are without discipline, which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not son's.  Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us and we respected them.  Joe we don't much rather be subject to the fathers spirits and Liz they disciplined us for a short time seemed best to them but he disciplines us for our good that we may share his holiness all discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful it to those who have been trained by it.  Afterwards yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.  Therefore strengthen the hands that are weak in the knees that are feasible and make straight paths for your feet so that the limb, which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather you verses five through 11 are filled with relationship terms and it's it at the heart of it is the father-son relationship.  That's a great comfort to suffering Saints.  She what he does he firmly roots are suffering in the family relationship that we have two our file.  We need to remember that these things happen because her father loves but we forget that so easily, where like children who when their parents discipline and let's say they chastised only spank them for disobeying baskets is your first thought, well, Lord death loves me, son, daughter this is now you don't think that he is not the first thought maybe you get there but not fret first right will typically what happens that I was a kid once with you will we do when that happens is there in the last thing we want is for them to be nice to us after that because we want to just you know, sit there and no soul tell ourselves how much they hate us and you know we do something a lot like as Christians, when her father maybe chastises a sword he takes us through a difficult path in life maybe not do our sandwiches he's training us.  We think things life loves Park God.  He just doesn't seem to be able we see here human suffering.  Where's God in the second very much from and sometimes we may even thinking of that effort people say this.  I think that is my life is so juicy all that is to interpret our circumstances wrong.  We interpret everything your interpreting what I'm saying right now he may be on board with me may not have had a were I'm going may disagree with you, but your interpreting what's going on right now as you look around other people your interpreting what you see, we interpret everything them in And so when these explain these hard experiences come into our lives.  We interpret them.  We need to do is to interpret them biblically need to put the biblical stand on them if you will, rather than the spin.  We usually put on them, which is 04 pitiful me God doesn't love me or something along those lines to the wrong end of the spin on things.  Is to fail to see the real purpose behind trials so we need to learn how to interpret for Charles V.  I hope we learn today and in the coming weeks.  The first lesson today's this one realize that your suffering is not uncommon realize that your suffering is not uncommon for two verse four you have not yet resisted to the point shedding blood in your striving against their own commentators take this sort of a paraphrasing of the saying flakiness of which are going for remain others about the worst Christ went through worse, BC, have with that one is not what I saying bouncing from with that.  It only think about the guy back in chapter 11 a Into Pittsburgh and so These Hebrew Christians May Indeed Start Going through Something Worse.  And so How Would This Conference We Think He's Saying Is This Is Not Done yet You Haven't Suffered to the Point Shedding Blystone about Dying There like Jesus Did.  He Died on the Cross.  We Need It Went All the Way to Point Shedding Blood.  He Died He Went to the End of His Racing Made It to the Finish Line.  Remember, We're Told That He Sat at the Right Hand of
