1) Read I John 2:23-27. What characterizes a genuine believer according to these verses?

 

 

 

 

 

2) (a) Why does John say in verse 23 and 24 that to deny, confess, or to continue with the Son is the same as to deny, confess, or to continue with the Father? See John 10:30,38; 14:9-10; 17:21.

4) I John says in verse 24 of chapter 2, that believers remain and continue in the Son. What do the following passages teach you about this marvelous truth and how this "remaining and continuing" is possible? John 10:27-30.
