(d) Why do you think the witness of God is greater, as John mentions in I John 5:9? Prove your answer from Scripture.

(b) Do you have the witness within yourself that you are a child of God?
(c) How do you know?
4. (a) How do we make God a liar according to what John says in I John 5:10?
(b) In what other way do we make God a liar according to I John 1:10?

5. How do John 3:36 and Mark 16:16 correlate with I John 5:12?
6. (a) Write down at least five reasons why an unbeliever might reject the witness God gave in His Son Jesus Christ.
(b) Now write down your rebuttals to the rejections, and include scripture when possible.
(c) How can you use these when giving a defense of the gospel to an unbeliever?
7. If others were to examine your life closely, how would they conclude that you believe the witness of God, and that you have the Son of life? Or would they conclude that you do not believe the witness of God, and thus have made God a liar?
