Proverbs...Ancient Wisdom
For Today's Woman

Proverbs are simple, moral statements (or illustrations) that highlight and teach fundamental realities about life.  The book of Proverbs is as modern as today's news. It is the worlds finest collection of sound, sanctified, common sense.

The book of Proverbs is from the portion of the Bible known as wisdom literature and deals with the problems of life each of us face, regardless of age. This year we will learn what Wisdom teaches about women, work, speech, raising children, friendships, anger, depression, and other topics that are relevant to our lives.

Throughout the pages of Proverbs we will see Jesus Christ, Who became for us Wisdom from God (I Corinthians 1:30). In Him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3).

The purpose of Proverbs is to give wisdom and understanding so we will find true blessedness in life and escape the snares and pitfalls of sin. The key verse is Proverbs 9:10, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding."

Join the Women of Grace for this exciting study Tuesday mornings, 9:30-11:30 A.M. and Tuesday evenings, 7:00-9:00 P.M.

Children of Grace

While Women of Grace are meeting on Tuesday mornings , Children of Grace (COG), from nursery to kindergarten meet to explore the Bible and learn how to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength. This is done in an atmosphere of encouragement, enjoyment and the warmth of His love. Your child will not only be loved but love being around Judy Mix and Erica Robison each week. The children meet during the same time the mothers meet each Tuesday morning, from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M.

Naomi Gundersen will be overseeing Home Schoolers needing to work on class work, from Kindergarten through High School.
