1) Read John 16, and list all the ministries in which the Holy Spirit is involved. Thank Him for each one.

2) Read John 13:36 and John 14:5. How does this reconcile with what Jesus says in John 16:5?

3) Read Acts 2:14-47.

(a) Through whom is the Spirit preaching?

(b) How did Peter’s sermon bring conviction of sin, righteousness and judgment? Cite specific examples.

(d) What happens when man does not respond to the Spirit's conviction? See Hebrews 3:7-19.

4) According to John 16:8 one ministry of the Holy Spirit is to reprove the world of righteousness. Read Matthew 5:17-48 to see what Jesus says about righteousness. How is true righteousness described according to these verses?

(b) When will the prince of this world finally be judged? See Revelation 20:7-10.
