“Our Immeasurable
Blessings in
Christ”

The Study of
Ephesians

Register Now

Women of Grace  begins the Fall Bible Study: Ephesians, “Our Immeasurable Blessings in Christ.” on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 from 9:30-11:30 A.M. and Tuesday evening from 7:00-9:00 P.M.

“Paul challenges his brothers and sisters in the faith to grow in grace and to stand firm in the midst of an evil age.”

Ephesians is a letter of encouragement and admonition, written to remind believers of their immeasurable blessings in Jesus Christ” John MacArthur.

Based on that premise, Dr. John MacArthur joins the Apostle Paul, who undoubtedly wrote the Book of Ephesians, in helping us to grasp more fully the mysteries of Christianity and the church of Jesus Christ.

The first three chapters are theological, emphasizing New Testament doctrine, whereas the last three chapters are practical and focus on Christian behavior.

Join us now as one of America’s most beloved and trusted Bible teachers unravels the glories and mysteries of the church of Jesus, helping us to claim the immeasurable blessings He has for us.

This year Women of Grace will use the new  volume in the MacArthur Bible Study Series for our study in Ephesians. Linda Roth will be lecturing each week from the weekly  passage studied.

The study books contain the text for each of the twelve chapters we will study this semester. Women of Grace begins Tuesday September 7, 2004 at 9:30 A.M. and Tuesday evening at 7:00 P.M.

The books are available in the church office for $5.00 each.

While Women of Grace are meeting on Tuesday mornings, Children of Grace, from nursery to kindergarten, explore the Bible and learn how to love God with all their hearts, souls, and minds. This is done in an atmosphere of encouragement, enjoyment and the warmth of His love.

Your child will not only be loved but will love being around teachers and workers who love God and who consider it a privilege to serve each week by teaching them songs, Bible verses and stories from the Bible. This is not a babysitting service but a Bible teaching class for young children whose mothers are attending the Bible Study.

Children of Grace meets on Tuesday mornings 9:30-11:30 A.M. at Grace Bible Church as their Moms meet for WOG.

Also available is supervision for homeschool children to do school work while Mom is in class.

Prayer:

  1. As you work through your lesson each week you will note the last question will begin to focus on a life change that the lesson may have focused on, so this will make it easier to prepare a personal prayer for that real life changes.
  2. We suggest you write your prayer request out, in answer to your homework, to answer in class and also write it on a 3x5 card to exchange with your partner.
  3. Please keep requests to 1-15 words and be specific, focusing on the life change God has for you from the lesson this week. (It is not necessary to give all details, and remember to be discrete).

Thank you for choosing to attend The Women of Grace Bible study this year on Ephesians, "Our Immeasurable Blessings in Christ." We know there are many studies to choose from and it is our joy to have you this year studying one of the richest portions of the Word of God. Ephesians is a letter of encouragement and admonition, written to remind believers of their immeasurable blessings in Jesus Christ. Our prayer for you is that God will cause this study to build a deeper appreciation for the love of the Father for his own and the riches we have "in Him."
